Old “Furoshiki" | 2015
A Tsumami-kanzashi that I found in Kyoto had a lot of small petals, and I was curious about how it was made.
So, I researched how to make it myself and tried to make it.
This is made by reusing old fabrics. Tsumami- zaiku folds a small piece of fabric to make petals.
So I can avoid the dirty and damaged parts of the fabric, so I can reduce waste of that.
I think that could be utilize such rational techniques in current-day creative works.
